• Pay Scale – The Sail has announced the basic pay Rs.20600/- P.M. in the pay scale of Rs.20600-46500/- during the period of Training & after successfully completion of the training period candidates will be appointed as a Junior Managers in the same pay scale. 
• Application Fee & Mode of Payment – Application fee Rs.500/- (Rs.100/- for SC / ST / PWD and departmental candidates) for General and OBC candidates is payable by CASH through fee payment challan which will automatically generated by the system at the time online registration. Candidates should be deposited the application fee in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) in specially opened account (A/C No.32286155304) at CAG Branch, New Delhi on the behalf of SAIL. Candidates can pay the application fee by net-banking / debit card and credit card through fee payment challan. 
• Mode of Selection – The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of written test, group discussion & interview. Only those candidates will be called for group discussion & interview who will qualify the written test. The final selection will be after interview.
