Southern Railway Recruitment 2013 – 13 Doctors

The Southern Railway (SR) was come into existence on 14.04.1951 through the merger of Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway, South Indian Railway and Mysore State Railway with its headquarter at Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu. The Southern Railway, Indian Railway has announced the recruitment 2013 for the posts of 13 full time medical practitioners (Doctors). They has published the advertisement with all necessary information & application form at its own official website i.e. http://www.sr.indianrailways.gov.in.   • Name of Post & Number of Vacancies – Southern Railway has required the 05 Specialist in various discipline & 08 GDMO (General Duty Medical Officer). 
  • Age Limit – Not Exceeding 50 Years (as on 01.01.2013), Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable 5 years for SC / ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. 
  • Pay Scale – There is a fixed remuneration included the amount of Rs.6838/-, Rs.5250/- as HRA and Rs.3712/- as TA. Remuneration is Rs.46800/- P.M. for Specialist & Rs.39400/- for General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO). 
  • Qualification & Experience – Specialist – Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in a specialty or equivalent and registration with Indian Medical Council. GDMO – MBBS and registration with Indian Medical Council. One year experience is desirable. 
  • Mode of Selection – The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of qualification, experience & interview. Final selection of candidates will be after interview only.
